Founded by a lifelong book enthusiast with a particular interest in academic and scholarly publishing, at Cloud Runner Books we specialize in the acquisition and sale of academic, scholarly, and out-of-print books.
While our inventory spans a wide range of subjects, we are especially interested in university press publications, scholarly monographs, specialized nonfiction, and books that continue to have research, historical, or intellectual value.
Our goal is simple: to connect worthwhile books with the readers, researchers, students, and collectors who can make use of them. We believe that many important books fall outside the attention of general used bookstores, particularly specialized academic works and out-of-print titles. By focusing on these areas, we help preserve and circulate books that continue to contribute to scholarship and learning.
We purchase individual volumes as well as entire collections, including faculty libraries, estate collections, research libraries, and other scholarly holdings.
