Every book in our catalogue<\/a> is a single, specific copy, described and (wherever we have them) photographed individually. Ordering is deliberately simple and personal.<\/p>\n

Ordering in three steps<\/h2>\n

  1. Find the book.<\/strong> Search the catalogue by title, author, or publisher, and open the listing to see its condition, condition notes, and photographs.<\/li>\n
  2. Click “Order by email”.<\/strong> This opens a message to us with the title, item number, and price already filled in. Add your shipping address and send it.<\/li>\n
  3. We confirm and quote shipping.<\/strong> We reply, normally within one business day, confirming the copy is still available and giving you the shipping total and payment options. Nothing is charged until you approve the total.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Payment<\/h2>\n

    We accept [list accepted payment methods, e.g. PayPal invoice, Zelle, check]<\/mark>. Payment details are included in our reply to your order email; we never ask for card numbers by email.<\/p>\n

    Holds and availability<\/h2>\n

    Most of our books are one-of-a-kind copies that may also be listed on other marketplaces. A copy is reserved for you once we confirm your order; if a copy sells elsewhere moments before your email arrives, we will tell you straight away and, where we can, offer an alternative.<\/p>\n
